Maggies First Haircut!

We got Maggie "groomed" today! WOW! She looks like a completely different dog! First of all, she is gray now instead of black, and she is clean, soft and shiny! She got all kinds of stuff done to help her ears and bottom feel better. We also found out that she was in heat, we had no idea, now Dave is at the pet store buying "doggie diapers". We really didn't know what we got ourselves into when we gave into our kids pleas for a dog! Oh my!
But she does smell like a rose and has bows in her ears! (Those only lasted a few minutes because Maggie didnt' like them, and Dave and Matt felt like she looked too girly!) OH well... she still looks really cute. We had no idea how mangey she had become until we saw the new and improved doggie!

ELLIE CAN READ!

We are so excited! Ellie is reading! She is doing such a great job! We are so proud of her. She has just taken off this past couple of weeks! Thanks to her teacher, Aunt Heidi, & Sis. McIntyre for all of their help and encouragement! WOO HOO!! Good job Elle!

KATIE IS TEN!!!!

Katie had a great birthday! We tried to make a home movie last night-- this is what Katie really wanted to do for her birthday (complete with the three girls as superheros and Matt as the villian), but our video camera had issues, so unfortunately that didn't work out! BUMMER!
BUT we did get to go out to dinner tonight with the whole family to Katie's favorite restaurant "Famous Daves". It was great fun! Katie got into the BBQ sauce quite a bit! Then we finished it off with a cake at Rich and Heidi's! Fun times!~






Happy birthday Katie!!! Hard to believe Katie is already ten! She is an awesome little girl, who is growing up so fast! We are so proud of Katie! She is a wonderful daughter and sister and we LOVE HER so much!!!!

Matt at Sadies

I was on the news!!! :)

Ha! This is too funny! A friend of mine in our ward, Stephanie Valdez, works for channel 3(NBC) news, and called me this afternoon to ask if I had been supporting Mitt Romney... I told her yes and she asked if they could send a reporter out to interview me and another woman in our ward (Christine Gren) about how we felt about him suspending his campaign... mainly because we are LDS...

So, we were the top story on the 10:00 and 11:00 news. I have to say, I was a bit camera shy and it was quite scary. I sounded well...quite nervous... but I did manage to say something slightly normal... ? maybe... HA! Hopefully if I get some footage from Stephanie, I can post it later! WHO KNEW? Me? the spokeswoman on behalf of Mitt Romney in Las Vegas?!?! TOOO FUNNY!!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

Soooo.......... I am looking for some fun ideas/suggestions of things to do for my hubby on V-Day... I think I have worn out a lot of the "usual" stuff, Im looking for something fun ~ any ideas? It's less than a week away already! Time flies!
