Happy St. Patty's day! We have had a few new things happening around our house- so here is the update!1. Matt had some disappointing news last week, he was supposed to be done with the crutches, but got told he has 4 more weeks at PT last week... bummer... he is really learning some patience through this ordeal! It has been a very LONG 6 weeks for him!
2. We went on a fun "braces weekend" trip to Colorado last weekend. Almost 1300 miles round trip! Ugh! We did A LOT of driving, but it was worth it! We had a great time and really enjoyed being with the family and as usual, TOTALLY appreciate Mark and Cosi for all they are doing for us and our teeth!! :) Dave and Matt get their braces off next trip! (Around May/June) YEA!! The girls got to be in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Ft. Collins on a float for "Dr. Crane" ~ very fun!

3. I got a job!! After 3 months of applying to over 40 jobs and NO LUCK- I got called from Summerlin Hospital and got hired to work Full time as an RN at the Women's Center. I start March 30th and I am nervous... it will be a BIG change for our family and we are just hoping that we can handle it!! But we know it's a blessing~ I am trying to look at it that way!!
4. Lindsey's getting good at the violin- she played I know that my Redeemer lives and did a GREAT JOB in the YM/YW talent show last week
Matt and his friends (Scott, Mitch, Riley and Kendall) formed a band and played "Day Tripper" by the Beatles, Matt was on the guitar and did pretty dang good! It was fun!
5. Jog-a-thon- Katie and Ellie had the jogathon this week and both did a great job with 13 laps each. They were troopers~ quite the great little runners!
6. Matt is working his guts out in calculus - he is gearing up for his 3 AP tests in May- AND...... the BIG news, he got accepted to BYU Provo and Idaho! He is going to go to BYU Provo and he is really excited! I, (on the other hand) am in denial. I will miss this kid more than words can say!!!
OKAY~ I think that is about it for now- sorry to bore ya'all.... SOoooooo glad spring is here! It is AWESOME! :) TTFN!
