I just ordered my first blog book. This makes me want to blog even more. What a good way to journal/scrapbook!! :) LOVE IT...

I did it at blog2print (thanks Amber) and it was SO easy! :) Yea! I cant wait to get it! :) It will be such a great way to do Matt's mission too... off of his blog.

Recent goings on:

Dave and I DJ'd the Youth Conference Dance last weekend... it was SO much fun!! :)

Lindsey and Dave LOVED youth conference last weekend, they had a great time.

Lindsey was sick Sun-Wed this week with strep :( Bummer.

Grandpa has planted 50 tomato plants this week and a planter box full of beets! We hope we have better luck this time.... pictures coming soon!!

Dave has been MIA lately... working so hard on Stake YMs... BUT it's all good in the hood.

This is Casey. She is leaving for her mission to Spain tomorrow. We love her! She has been a great example to our family! One of the best YW in our ward and a great friend to Matt. We know she will be an INCREDIBLE missionary and we are SO EXCITED to hear all about it over the next 18 months!! GO SISTER ROSS!!!!! You are the Best!!!!

So the last of the tribe got her braces on last weekend!! Ellie looks SO darn cute with braces. It's been a painful week for her, but I think it's starting to get better now... Thank you SO SO SO MUCH to Uncle Mark and Aunt Cosi!!! We literally couldn't do this without your generosity!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID EVAN

Dave got a ROUTER for his birthday(and a bottle of diet coke lol!)... for those of you who don't know, Dave LOVES wood working, and is quite good at it too, (I must add) So this new router was his dream present!! :) He was grinning from ear to ear :)

He has made the following furniture for our house:

adarondak chairs for our patio

Right now he is working on a music stand for the girls violin/cello music.

He is talented at it and he LOVES to do it in his free time. He says it's therapeutic for him.

BUT Dave's talents DO NOT STOP THERE.

Ellie's Birthday

A HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our little Ellie, who isn't so little anymore!! NINE YEARS OLD!! Wow! Time is flying by!! :)

Ellie had a great day! We celebrated with presents, dinner and cake! And right now she is on her way to to Ft. Collins to get her braces on!!! :)

Happy birthday sweet Ellie!! We love you so so so so very much and are so glad you came to our family! You are the best in the west ;)

Our two lovely daughters, Lindsey and Katie, are being recognized at a special lunch this week at school for getting a perfect score of 500 on their CRTs (state standardized test). YEA!! WAY TO GO!! We are super proud of how dedicated these two girls are to their studies!! LOVE THEM! :)

JOGATHON BABY!!

Ellie got an incredible 13 laps at the jogathon!! She did AWESOME!! She had fun doing it too with her friend Sydney! :)

Missionary News: Matt got his FIRST BAPTISM last week!! So exciting! It was wonderful to hear how happy he was about it!! YEA!

Also-- SPRING IS SPRINGING all around -- Here in Vegas! Love love love this time of year here... it's the BEST!! (Tree in my Dad's yard--beautiful!!)
