Happy Birthday Matt and family Update :)

But here's the latest in the Doxey Familia

Matt turned 20 yesterday!!!! Happy Birthday to my favorite son! I love Mateo so much! We seriously miss that kid! He is just THRIVING on his mission though. He loves it so, so, so much. he says it is going by way too fast. I get so excited when I think about this time next year!! :) WEE HAW! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT!!! We love you TONS! Hard to believe I have a 20 year old. I am ancient!!! LOL!

Lindsey went to an awesome Youth Conference with her cousins... they got to go River Rafting on the Colorado River. She loved it! She said it was the most fun trip of her life!! :) I will be interested to see how it rates next to EFY, which is where she is this week. She paid for EFY way back in January and has been looking forward to it for so long. I know she will absolutely love it! Matt always did. She gets to be there with lots of her cousins too, so it's way awesome! Lindsey has been running cross country since we got here and is improving all the time!

Katie got to go to Lake Powell with LeeAnn, Lisa, Grandpa, Al, and some cousins last week. She got pretty sunburned and beat up on the wake board, but she loved it! It was way cool! She and I went and saw the movie 17 miracles yesterday, it was AWESOME and a great way to commemorate the 24th of July. . . truly makes you so grateful for our pioneer ancestors. Today Katie, Ellie, Brynne and Kendy went to 7 Peaks and LOVED it!! Fun times! :) Katie has been running cross country and is getting better every week! YEA!

Ellie has been playing NONSTOP with Tom ,Max and Brynne. They are having a ball together. It is so awesome to see them playing so well together and having so much fun. She also made a new friend across the street named Abbey who she loves to play with. She got to go to 7 peaks today and loved it tons! Today Ellie signed up for soccer... YEA! She has always wanted to play! She starts in about 2-3 weeks! She also got registered for school. she is going to go to Rocky Mountain Elementary. She was so happy to find out that they have a 45 min lunch break and can actually talk in the lunch room! :))

Dave and I are both enjoying our new jobs. I am working for Envision Home Health and it's been great so far. So much flexibility with my schedule and such nice patients. It's been great.

Dave loves being a corporate attorney at doTERRA. He is so happy to only have one client! :) It's nice having him home in the evenings too!

We are still waiting to see if we get the house we are currently under contract on... tricky financing with us owning an unrented house in Vegas still... so our fingers are crossed HARD core... Hoping we get some news soon!

So that's it in a nutshell... life is good... we miss Vegas....are adjusting to Utah and are SO SO grateful for our family that are helping us so much at this time in our lives. What would we do without you?!??!

We're here!!!

We have been in Utah for 2 weeks now... I've got to say, it's growing on us already. It was so hard leaving LV, but we are adjusting to our new lives here. . . we still have a few balls up in the air, but over all it's been going well....

Here's what we've been up to:
-I interviewed for jobs for 2 weeks and found one! :) I am working at Envision Home Health in Orem. I am really excited about this job. It has AWESOME hours. I will work during the exact hours the kids are at school! perfect!
-Dave started his new job and is LOVING it. Can I just say how sweet it is to see him smiling :)
- we put an offer on a house and are sittin....waiting...wishing... :)
- 4th of July in Provo. It was awesome. Reminded me of one of the things I LOVE here. The 4th here is THE BEST. I love it. Hot air balloons, parade, picnic, fireworks, patriotism, it was so nice.
-outdoors! We are loving the Utah summer nights and the mountains! :)
- Lindsey and Katie started cross country and are doing great! :)
- Ellie has been a playing maniac. She is on the go all day and all night with her cousins. It's so much fun for her to get to roam free.
-Cousins- non stop cousins! Cosi, Mark and kids, Dan, Julie and kids, the Youngs, the Christensens, the Asays.
-going to watch the motab practice at the conference center.
It has been stressful at times, moving has LOTS of that, but overall it's been a fun summer so far! :)
p.s. yep, I stole all of these pictures off of Cosi's blog because I packed my memory card accidentally.... haha :) Thanks Cos! :)
