MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Christmas time is the best, isn't it? So many great times with family... we were able to go to a movie on Christmas Eve day with the Asay's and then Christmas Eve we had our traditional appetizer dinner, family talent show and nativity. Grandma Gibson was here with us just fresh home from her mission the day before!. Christmas day was lovely! The highlight was the SKYPE with Matt! We absolutely loved it!! We got to video chat for an hour and it was sooooo good to see his face and hear his voice! Only 8 months til he's home! WOW. Time sure does fly! He is happy and healthy and we are so grateful he is doing so well. Christmas night we went to an awesome prime rib dinner at Andy and DeeAnn's house. It was delicious! It's been a lot of fun this week with lots of family around! Looking forward to our annual NYE dance at the Christensens! :)

LOOK WHO'S FIFTEEN!!!!

Happy Birthday Lindsey! I cannot believe it was 15 whole years ago that Lindsey was born! What an incredible blessing to our family Lindsey has been. She is so sweet, kind, loving and nurturing. We all love her so much! We had a great night with Cafe Rio for dinner, opening presents and watching Tangled (which she got for her birthday) and eating the luscious lemon cake she ordered! Love you Lindsey!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET GIRL!!!
Lindsey got two sweet cards from her sisters! :) and a CTR ring for her Bday.. (you can't tell from my blurry picture trying to show it)... also, I had no idea how dirty my living room windows were until I put these pictures up! YIKES! Guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow!!!!

Thanksgiving, orchestra concert and brace face #6

Thanksgiving this year RULED. Yep, it was so much fun. We drove to "The Fort" and spent the holiday with 6 of the 12 siblings on Dave's side of the family. We really missed those that weren't able to make it. We definitely felt your absence!! But it was a great weekend full of fun, relaxing and partying with the cousins! :) Some of the highlights of the weekend festivus included a 5K Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, braces on Wed, a killer game of four square in the gym, German tag, around the world ping pong and tennis, cooking, cooking and more cooking, a delicious feast, black Friday shopping, going for walks, sleeping in, staying up late, watching movies, a thanksgiving "thankful" turkey and last but not least a great dance partay. Thanks so much to Cosi and Mark for hosting all of us! We had such a great time with the Christensens, Doxey's, Longson's, Cranes and Youngs. Good times. Good times.

Katie and Lindsey did a fabulous job at their Christmas orchestra concert! They are both getting soooo good on their instruments! :)

Mark talked me into getting braces!! The day before Thanksgiving... made for a sore mouth for the feast... but oh so worth it! I am so thankful for the amazing opportunity to have Mark take care of our family's orthodontics!! :) I am also WAY excited to get rid of my TMJ problem!! THANK YOU MARK!!!
