Spring is in full swing! :)

So, all the spring sports are in full swing! Lindsey and Katie have been working hard in track. They had their first meet Friday. They did SO great! They both ran the mile and the 800 m. It was awesome! We were so proud of them!!! Dave pulled in from Japan about a half an hour before the meet started, so it was sweet... he got to see them! Ellie has had 3 soccer games now and is doing so well! She almost scored a goal Tuesday and Sat Dave got to be the coach! It was great! All three girls are keeping busy with music too.. Katie and Lindsey had their spring orchestra concert a few weeks ago and all three are busy with violin, cello and piano lessons!! Not to mention YW, activity days and school (I know it may be bragging, but I had to take a picture of Lindsey and Katie's names on the honor roll at school too, sorry! documenting, ya know) ... it keeps us hopping! :) But we love it! We are getting ready to plant our peas and we have daffodils blooming in the yard. It has been such a mild winter for Utah and an early spring. We wonder if we will get more snow later? But for right now, we are LOVIN it!! :) Dave is keeping super busy at work and just got a new calling in YM... I am still really enjoying my job. I would have to say it's the PERFECT job. I really do love it. My calling of RS teacher is going well and I am starting to get busy with my girls' camp calling too... all fun/good stuff!! Life is good!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ellie!!! Double digits! AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!!!

Ellie is now officially in the DOUBLE DIGITS! NO WAY!!! How did this happen to my baby girl? We all had to go to Youth Conference this weekend, on Ellie's birthday. We were so sad and felt so bad leaving her home! So after school on Thursday Lindsey, Katie and I surprised Ellie and took her to get her ears pierced. Something she has been begging for for 2 years. :) She loved it! Then she got to hang out with her cousins all weekend while we were gone. She LOVED it. Brynne even planned a surprise birthday party for her with Savannah, Anna and Tom.

Ellie got to take donuts to her class on Friday and tell about her "all about me" poster. It was cute! Then this morning, Sunday, she got to open her presents and then tonight we had the family over for dessert for her and Dave's birthdays! :) It was lots of fun.

Lindsey and Katie, Dave and I had a great time at youth conference this weekend at Heber Valley Camp. It was a wonderful spiritual feast! :)

Then tonight our ward kicked off missionary month by a great youth fireside where Lindsey and Katie got their mission calls and are wearing Sunday clothes, their name tags, and carrying their scriptures to school every Wednesday. Have to go on a media fast for a week, go to bed at 10 adn wake up at 6. They got their calls to Lindon Peru and Lindon Taiwan and got these cute badges. I had to take a picture. I would love to see them someday with real ones on! :)
