Saturday was our 23rd anniversary! We had a fun date Friday night to celebrate since Dave had an all day YM activity Saturday.... We went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. It was awesome. We had never been there... it was right up our alley! We both love trees, plants, flowers, gardens etc... and this place was gorgeous. It has 55 acres of beautiful gardens. We had a lot of fun walking around and dreaming of ways to spruce up our yard! :) Then we went out to dinner afterward. It was really fun to be together and it has been SUPER WONDERFUL to be married to the man who is PERFECT for me for 23 years! :) Love him!!!

SPRING BREAK BABY!!!!!!!!
Spring Break this year was AWESOME! I am not gonna lie. We had such a fabulous time. We did a spur of the moment trip to Nauvoo... It was SO wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We ran into the Sorensons from our ward surprisingly while we were in Nauvoo!! :) It was so fun to see them there!! :)

The women's garden was one of my favorite spots. Awesome statues paying tribute to womanhood. I got a bit choked up in this spot with my sweet hubby and daughters :)
Crossing the Mississippi river for the first time.... heading into Illinois. Our girls first time seeing the mighty Mississippi.

HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR TRIP:
- Easter at the Cranes with the Youngs- delightful dinner, dessert and Easter egg hunt! :)
-Winter Quarters- Dave has ancestors buried there.
-Nauvoo- wagon and carriage ride, President's houses, Rendezvous, womens garden. Nauvoo temple-baptisms and endowment session.
-Carthage Jail
-Kansas City Temple Open House
-Liberty Jail
-Staying at Tim & Jalenes house, dinner/movie night
-42 hours in the car laughing, singing, talking, rocking out, reading, studying, watching movies... JUST BEING TOGETHER. This was a great trip for our family even though it was spur of the moment it was SO worth it.
