HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!! :)

We were shocked this year when Lindsey, Katie and Ellie said they had never seen Dave and I dress up for Halloween!!! NEVER!?!? I couldn't believe it!! Had it really been THAT long?!?! So .... we had to show them our stuff!!! We had a lot of fun Monday night at a family Halloween party that Grammie threw. It was super fun with a road rally and an awesome dinner! Thanks Grammie!!
The girls all dressed up for school today and Dave wore his costume to work! I wore my scary earrings and necklace with black sweats to The Charleston ( I didn't want to scare my patients too bad!).
FUN TIMES!
Look at these 2 cuties from the awesome 80s!!!!  LOVE IT!!!

Me and my rocker self with my rocker husband! :)

Katie's hair was AMAZING!! It looked so great!!! Ellie was a perfect Old Granny!

Matt showed up in this African ensemble. I thought it was quite dashing :) Apparently S. Africans paint their faces white all the time....

Doesn't Dave look smashing with a 'stache?

The tattoo with my name was a nice touch. Warmed my heart... lol :)

Ready for work... gotta love it! :)

Now that's one BAAAADDDD looking hombre

Youth Conference

We had Youth Conference this past weekend up at Timp Lodge. It was SO great! I have to admit that I was kind of dreading going because I had so much to get done at home... but it was well worth our time. The best part is that I got to be there with Dave, Lindsey and Katie! It was a lot of fun! Perfect weather... we had a rock wall, ropes course, hiked Stewart Falls, had great food, an awesome guest speaker named Al Fox and a great "burying our swords" activity. It was wonderful to feel the spirit and enjoy the beauty of nature! I love this time of year in Utah. It really is THE BEST! :)

FALL BREAK

Our girls had school off last Thursday through Monday. It was so nice for them to be able to have a break and relax a bit. Lindsey and Katie didn't have cross country practice and they were so glad! They both have injuries and needed a break! There was lots of reading, relaxing, hanging out with and having sleep overs with cousins, a family dinner and we were even able to go and see Spiderman as a family at the dollar movies Friday night!!!! Wow! It's been a long time since we've all gone to a movie together!

Saturday morning we got up early and drove down to Cedar City. We helped my Dad buy and install a new microwave and did some cleaning for him, then we all went to the Shakespearean Festival and saw Les Miserables. It was so great! We had a lot of fun being together as a family. Les Miserables is my FAVORITE book. Katie read it last year and was SO excited to see the play. We had all read the book except for Lindsey and Ellie...so we all loved it! It was great fun! :) We took Grandpa out to dinner and then dropped him off at home and got him set up to watch the BYU game. We drove home to watch the game at our house (we TiVo'd it). What a disapointer!!

Here's some pics of us before the play... we got in trouble for taking them... oops!
Here's a nice close up of Katie... aren't these girls cute!?!!

Matt, Katie and Lindsey. I heart my Kiddos! :)

On Thursday Nathan came over and hung out with us for the day. We had fun shopping at Savers for Halloween costumes, then we went and cashed in on a "free meal" at Cafe Rio and went to the park. It was such AWESOME weather. We totally enjoyed ourselves with soccer, tennis, collecting "hay corns" and fall leaves... it was quite delightful!

XC REGIONALS

I am SO proud of Lindsey and Katie! They have done SO well in XC this season! They have both worked so hard, to push through til the end!! They had their regional meet Saturday at Kiwanis park. They did so great! Katie has a stress fracture and pushed through the pain anyway... Lindsey has had a strained I T band and kept on running. They are much better runners after all of their work, they look great and more than anything else they haven't given up!!! They both have learned a lot of mental toughness this season!! WAY TO GO GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it!!

Ellie also had her last soccer game last weekend... My battery on my camera was dead so I didn't get any shots... BUMMER. She had a great season and improved so much being on this harder competitive team. So proud of her!

This past weekend was general conference and it was excellent. It was a wonderful spiritual boost. Lots of bad news has been going around lately and it was so nice to hear the great news of the gospel. I love the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am so thankful to be a member of it. I love the resolve to be a better person that General Conference gives me!!! :)

Matt had a bunch of his friends here for the weekend... we had a fun birthday party for Casey combined with a dance party with the cousins Saturday night.  It was a BLAST!!! :)
