SKI DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and Katie ended up going up a couple of hours later than everyone else... Here we are on our first time up the lift... Katie was scared! She had never done this before! Dave took us down the "back side" of the mtn... it was HARD!

Love all these peeps... I am telling you... we were exhausted at this point... well some of us were lol! :)

We bought the kids some lift tickets to Sundance for Christmas and haven't ever had a Saturday free to go and use them!!! YIKES!! The snow is melting!! So we decided today was the day! The kids had TONS of  homework this weekend and were nervous to go... plus Katie had her cello competition in the morning... Also, Lindsey, Katie and Ellie had never REALLY gone skiing before.. They had done the rope tow twice with Dave... but never a REAL day on the lift and the slopes... The first run was rough...  but then they surprised us all and were seriously doing amazing by the end of the day! It was Casey's first time too and she was PRO!! We had a blast! My knee is killing me tonight... hope I didn't do something serious to it. I hadn't been skiing for around 20 years!!! YIKES... I had a Mega wipe out and I am feeling it now!! But it was SUPER fun and we hope to do more of it next year!! :)

Katie's Orchestra concert and CELLO COMPETITION!! :)

Katie has been working VERY hard this year and especially this month on the cello!! :) She made her way to 3rd chair through some very tough competitors!! She has had a WONDERFUL orchestra teacher in 8th and 9th grade. Ms. Jimenez. She has come a long way!! Then it's been extra awesome to have Dave's aunt Linda teach Katie privately. They had a Utah Valley Youth Strings festival that Katie competed in and she ROCKED it! So proud of her!! :)

 Katie did AMAZING check out her videos!! :) She did VERY well!! SO proud of her! She had nerves of steel in front of those judges. She worked so hard for this!! :)

Dave's Birthday!! :)

Its a little sad... but after my  birthday, valentines day, Katie's birthday,  and Ellie's birthday we are ALL a little bit tired of cake... So Dave got a gourmet cupcake instead!!!

We love Dave so much!! He really is a wonderful husband and father!!! We are SO LUCKY!!! He got new dress shirts (I know, exciting) for his birthday!!! He had a busy day at work so we opened gifts first thing in the morning and then that night we went to Katie's orchestra concert to celebrate!

Ellie's 11th Birthday on braces weekend!! :)

We had braces weekend the same weekend as Ellie's birthday this year. I think she had a great birthday playing with the cousins all weekend and then shopping at our new favorite store in Co... Charming Charlies. It was lots of fun! Cosi was super sweet and made her a cake and put up balloons and a banner to make it extra special! It was fun! 

We love Ellie so much! She is such an awesome girl! She is a great addition to our family and brings so much happiness and activity! She is seriously the BEST! Love her!

Here's one of Cosi's famous DELICIOUS peanut butter cup cakes! She made one for Ellie and I both this year for our birthdays! How lucky are we?!?! YUMMY!!!!

We drove home from Colorado all day Sunday and when we got here Matt had made this awesome banner for Ellie! :) Loved it... You have to know Matt's humor and lingo to get this one... We then had a nice family dinner with Matt and Trey here, opened her presents and then had cake and played killer bunnies :) FUN STUFF!!!
