CHRISTMAS 2013

We had a great Christmas! Quiet, but nice! We enjoyed some down time and the girls got some awesome new stuff!! :) Katie was spoiled with a new cello, Lindsey got a chrome  book and Ellie got a cell phone!! MAJOR AWARDS!! We sure did miss our Mateo and Casey. They went to LV to be with Casey's family... we had some fun times though. We saw two good movies Saving Mr. Banks and the Secret life of Walter Mitty. They were really good. We rode the train up to SLC and saw the lights at temple square and had dinner at City Creek Mall, had a  strings jam session with Grammie, watched the BYU game with the Youngs, had our appetizer feast, went to a prime rib dinner at Andy's, had a movie night with the Asay's watching "Psych the musical" and some relaxing times at home. All in all a super fun Christmas break!!!!

We are so blessed! It's a WONDERFUL LIFE!!! So grateful for it!

We started a new tradition this year.... a Christmas Puzzle!!! It was fun!

Casey Graduated!

Dave and I headed up to Rexburg on Dec 20th to Casey's graduation!! We are so proud of her and so happy for her too!! She graduated Cum Laude! (top 10% of her class). She is seriously AWESOME!

Dave and I realized that this was our first trip ALONE without our kids in like... FOREVER! And we really enjoyed it!! We really relaxed, took our time coming home, slept home etc... Here we are on the Snake River outside our hotel in Idaho Falls. It was FREEZING... but beautiful!

Then on our way home we stopped in Pocatello for lunch and drove past my Grandpa Bertoch's old house. That brought back memories and made me smile thinking of him! He was a good Grandpa!

HAPPY 17th LINDSEY!!!

I feel bad these are the only 2 photos I have of Lindsey's birthday! We didn't have our new camera or my iphone at this point and our old camera wasn't working... so this is what we ended up with!!! I think she had a happy birthday though! We had homemade cheesecake and she got some cute new clothes! :) Can't believe she is 17 already!! We LOVE Lindsey sooooo much!! She is a total light and example in our family!!! Love her to pieces!!!!! :)))
