Halloween 2014

I didn't get many pictures of anyone's costumes this year! LAME!! I was busy making an awesome (haha) video for Cheri's birthday and missed the pictures!! But we did have a great time at Cheri's 50th birthday party the day before Halloween and then we had a party on Halloween at our house with Jason's family complete with Chili and Hide and Seek outside! :) Rich and Heidi even came at the end of the night -- it was FUN! :)

I LOVED Matt and Casey's awesome costumes!!!! The prego basketball was awesome!! Especially because Casey is a Baller!! :) They are so cute! Can't wait for them to become parents!

Crazy Good Ellie

So Ellie decided she would mow the lawn in this "gettup" She wanted to stay warm on this fall day and so she donned the wig and Dave's jacket... Just had to get a shot! haha. Ellie loves mowing on the riding lawn mower... it's a special little treat :)

I got to go see Ellie in action in her choir class one morning at school, her teacher invited parents in... it was fun! Ellie's first time in a choir!

Ellie TOTALLY rocked her piano concerto this year! She got a 39/40 and was asked to perform in the Honors recital. She even won MONEY$$ She did so well. We were so proud of her. It has been so awesome for her and Tom to take piano lessons together every Monday. They are the CUTEST little cousins! :)

I truly LOVE fall!

So, I was feeling particularly invigorated today after my run. This shot of these mums in my front yard was so beautiful! I couldn't resist! We have had such a great fall... such mild temperatures and such a long fall season! I truly love my newfound ability to run! It's been a year now that I have been consistently exercising and even though somedays it is really hard, I am so glad I am doing it. I feel so much better, even if I don't look a lot better, I feel healthier and stronger and better about myself! :) Yay me.

FALL COLOR HIKE

We are so lucky to live in such a gorgeous place!!! This is dry canyon just up the street from us! We love it! We are trying to hike more often ( a slow work in progress) but when we do it's awesome and we love it! We did a great spring and fall hike this year. These colors are GLORIOUS!

Cross Country Region meet

 Our girls had their region meet at the Scera Park today. It is so hard to believe that this is Lindsey's last year... and basically her last race of the season. She PR'd at this race and has done so well this season. I am so proud of her for all of her hard work in cross country for the past 4 years! It has been grueling somedays, fun others, but over all a TON of time, work and effort! She is awesome!! I am just highlighting her for a minute because she's a senior and it's her last year...

Katie has had an awesome season too!! We are so proud of her! Cross country is such a hard sport and such anO individual sport. It can be discouraging and sometimes so hard to keep on training and training. Katie has worked her tail off and has improved so much. She is strong and keeps on working hard! LOVE HER!  It has been so awesome that these two sisters have been able to have this experience together for the past 4 years!

 The girls are going to hate these close-ups but I love them. Dave took them and I just love to see their beautiful faces close up and remember these looks after their races. Someday this will just be a memory!

Sometimes we get to go to some fancy dinners and stuff with doTERRA. Tonight we went to a fundraiser for Mia Love. Mitt Romney was the speaker. It was awesome to see  him in person! OH! How I wish he would have won the presidential election! I was super tacky and was taking a bunch of selfies with him in the background! Haha :)

Casey's Birthday

Casey's BIG TWO FIVE!!! So LUCKY to have this amazingly beautiful, sweet, kind, smart and talented woman as our daughter in law. We love her so much. She and Matt make a great couple!!! :)
