So-- we took our girls (Lindsey and Katie) to their first ROCK concert!!! We got super duper cheap tickets to the above groups- all in concert together -- it was great! I think Dave and I got more of a kick out of watching the girls reaction than to actually watching the concert...
Yeah, a bunch of washed up 80's bands-- but it was still a KICK in the pants! We had a lot of fun! Rich and Heidi came along and also Matt and a bunch of his friends (who sat all the way across the arena from us)... It was super fun! But a reminder that we are OLD!!! These songs are so old AND our ears hurt so bad by the time we left-- we knew we were in our 40s for sure after this concert! :) Ha ha! Fun times!

how fun! We saw Styx with Journey and Foreigner (I think) a few years back and felt the same -- it's comical to watch these OLD men jump around like they're still 20. As I remember, the singer from Styx was still pretty good???

Hahahahha! That's hilarious. I'm so glad you guys had fun, and that the kids got a slice of it, too. My parents took me to see Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons as well as Don Mclean when I was younger, and I really enjoyed both.
