So for those of you who knew me WAAYYY back when... like when I was about 13 or 14 (and there aren't many of you at all) you will remember that I was hopelessly addicted to this book and this movie. It was my FAVORITE. I don't know how many times I read this book, at least a dozen and probably saw the movie twice as many times. I LOVED it!! That is why I found it SO amazing/hilarious when my girls came home from school talking about reading "The Outsiders". Lindsey had read it in her reading class at school and Katie read it in one day last Friday. They LOVED it. YES--it's official-- they are my daughters! Ha ha ha! I had never even told them about this book. Tonight we watched the movie. It brought back so many memories of me and my best friend Elicia in our Jr. High years sitting in front of our tv's watching this movie over and over and over. I still had some of the lines memorized and knew all the songs.. I had to laugh... And yeah, it made me feel old once again! :) So funny that they like the same thing I did at their ages! :) LOVE IT...

That is so funny!!!! I loved the book too, and I really loved the movie. Funny to see the picture of those actors when they made that movie! My gosh, how times have changed! They were no named actors when they made that movie!
Boy does that movie bring back time. We were so young back then.
I've TOTALLY been missing out!!! I've never even read it or heard of it--where have I been? I'll have to get it and Maddie and I can have a good read (or a good watch--usually more my style!!)
