Today is TWIN DAY at school... look at these two cute girls! I love that they are so close in age (14 months) they are great friends and on occasions like this it is AWESOME to have a sister to do things with! They looked so cute~ matching EVERYTHING, shoes, pants, shirts, jackets, braids and even the rubber bands on their braces! Ha ha! So cute!
side note-- notices the BARREN stripped walls in the background- a work in progress...
I love my kids so much! Yesterday was a VERY VERY VERY bad day at work. Dave and I got home around the same time (8 pm)I came home in some SERIOUS pain and had some SERIOUS fatigue going on. (Not to mention I had been splashed with bloody urine ALL over my arm-- super lovely) BUT the house was clean, dinner was on the table and even a FHE lesson was prepared!! They are so sweet. They definitely turned my frown upside down! How did I get so lucky to have 4 of the BEST kids in the whole wide world? Being a working mom has made me appreciate my children a lot more. First of all- I don't get to be with them as much as I would like, so I enjoy the time we do have together a lot more than ever, second- I am realizing more and more how SHORT my time is with them in my home, having Matt leave was a real wake up call to me to enjoy the time I have with them in my home.. goes by SO FAST!! Third- I am around people at work all the time who complain about how "bad" their kids are, and it makes me so grateful for my kids and mostly for the gospel. Where would we be without it? Honestly, I just love my kids~ I am not meaning to brag, I am just grateful!! Every single one of them really is so good to me... What a blessing. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!!!!!! :)

So cute....sorry you had such a lousy day yesterday.
Cute girls!!! Today has got to be better, right?
I agree with realizing how short your time is with your kids. It seems like yesterday Scott and Matt were in junior high/starting high school. Please add me to your list when you go private. Hope today is better!
yes you are certainly lucky to have such great kids. My kids are awesome too, but i am pretty sure that if I came home at 8:00 I would NOT have dinner waiting for me. You are LUCKY!
That's funny, cuz when I called your house that night I asked Ellie what she was doing and she very matter-of-factly told me that she was "checking the meat." She said they were making tacos. They are good girls. I yuv em.
I LOVE your girls too. Oh okay - I love Matt too!!! Anyways I have always admired the friendship that those two have. I am happy that Spence and Sam will always have each other. Next year will be hard as will every other time they get split up (when Spence hits Jr. High and Sam is still in Elementary School, etc.). Thanks for being such good examples to your little cousins and being such great kids for your parents. Les and Dave you two get some of the credit as you have raised them right!!!
I agree, you're kids ARE so awesome!! You deserve the payoff you are seeing from the good job you have done (and continue to do) raising them!! I hope that my girls keep a close friendship like yours have! It's beautiful! And they look darling in their matching outfits! :)
YOU are part of the reason your kids are great! You have taught them everything they know! Kudos to a GREAT mom!!
