The latest...not the greatest

We had to get rid of this doggie:I would like to say that we're REALLY sad... BUT THE TRUTH is... we only miss her a little bit. I knew that having a dog wasn't really my favorite... but since she's been gone I have realized I LOVE not having a dog. Does that make me a bad person!?! DOES IT?! I feel slightly guilty but here is my TOP TEN list of what I DON'T miss about Maggie:
1. shredded toilet paper all over the floor
2. leaves/grass drug in
3. the doggie door
4. the gate into our kitchen
5. her running outside and having to chase her
6. occasional "accidents" on the floor.
7. her water/food dish
8. Her getting into the dirty clothes and shredding them.
9. The mess in the back yard.
10. Buying dog food.
I'M MEAN HUH!?!? Dave is the only one who REALLY misses her, that's because he is the NICE one in the family... we all know it's true. :)

SCIENCE FAIR:
Ellie gets to do the science fair this year. She chose to do the experiment where you try to get a hard boiled egg into a bottle by putting a match into it! It worked! She had fun doing this with her sisters one Saturday while I was at work. Love it! :) Science can be fun!

You're not a bad person. I would probably feel the EXACT same way. But you never said WHY you had to get rid of her...was it for those very reasons?

Leah wants a dog so bad. She thinks we'll get one the day we get a fence (she asked for a fence for Christmas-ha!) The funny thing is she's deathly afraid of anything that moves. She says, you can put in away right before I wake up so it can't get me. I really don't know what she's thinking. Crazy girl

How nice that Ellie's big sisters helped her with her project. Even more fun!

We got rid of her because we got blood tests back showing that Ellie is VERY allergic to cats and dogs... something I had suspected for quite some time... argh...

AMEN! I am definitely not a dog person. We've tried twice since Shelby (remember her??) and are done trying to be dog people to make our kids happy. No more animals for us! Enjoy the quiet, the clean, the ability to pick up and go or be gone all day without worrying about a dog, ETC.
