Kismet

This morning as I was doing the dishes... I was looking out the window thinking... I had just wished someone a happy birthday... and I was thinking about how interesting it was how this person and I had crossed paths in life and how we are such great friends... how I didn't know this person for half of my life.... and then we became kind of kindred spirit types....

Then I started thinking about chance, destiny, karma, providence, and KISMET... Is it a coincidence that certain people become part of our lives?

I choose to think it is NOT. I believe that Heavenly Father brings people into our lives that we NEED and that NEED us, to help each other along our journey in life.

I love to think about all of the people who have been a part of my life. I LOVE the warm fuzzies I get when I think of great people I have been blessed to know and love. I love to think about those that I have loved so much and who have made my life better, have taught me, helped me and been there for me. From family members, friends, ward members and even co-workers... It is so interesting to look back and realize the influence that people have had on me. I would love to make a list of people who have touched my life... maybe not appropriate for the blog, maybe my journal... (also... have you ever notice how you have morphed over the years to be a different person than you used to be? I like this topic too)

Our relationships with people are what make life worthwhile... So there is my deep thought for the day... But MAYBE it's more than that... Maybe it's a little prompting from above to remind me of my greatest blessings.

Amen! Even though moving is hard, the people you meet along the way are so worth it! I feel so blessed to have met and learned from so many amazing people in so many different places. I totally believe Heavenly Father sends us just who we need just when we need them. Yeah for great friends!!!
