Sooooo Packing/moving is not for the faint of heart! Ugh... Two weeks ago we took a BIG LOAD up to Provo... this included our whole garage (that is A LOT of tools btw) our entertainment center, book shelf, with all of their contents boxed up, all of our bedroom closets, a couch, a dresser, our treadmill, tv, cedar chest, work bench, garage shelving, bikes, etc.. etc... About 40% of our stuff... so that was nice to get the first load done!! :)
Then last week I finished up my last week of work. . . that was interesting. I totally surprised myself by feeling a little bit pensive finishing up. It's amazing how LAME I am. I complained SO BADLY For two years... then when facing having to find another job, and realizing that I was now in my comfort zone at Summerlin, suddenly it didn't seem so bad anymore! I also realized that through that trial I grew SO much and learned things I couldn't have learned any other way. What a dork I am. Hopefully next time I can enjoy the journey a little more.
So this week the girls are finishing up school. . . Tomorrow is the last day. So strange to think that we won't be going back to Sheila Tarr or Leavitt MS ever again... and that Matt was our only kid to go to Centennial... All of this is SO weird. I have shed lots of tears, but now, I think I am nearing the point of "just get on with it already" I have so much apprehension and feel like it's "time for me to fly" :)
This week my FT job has been packing the rest of the house. So far I have packed the "pit of despair" yes... that is what we have called our BIG closet for the last 8 years. This house only has one closet besides the bedroom closets, so we have packed EVERYTHING into that little closet under the stairs... 12 big boxes worth, 2 bags for D.I. and 2 black garbage bags worth were crammed into that little space. YIKES! Then I packed the living room, food storage and today the kitchen. The kitchen is LOTS of work.
I am looking forward to a night like tonight a year from now when I will:
1. Know where I live.
2. Know what ward I'm in.
3. Know what schools my kids are going to.
4. Know where my Dad is living (hopefully nearby)
5. My girls will have new friends
6. I will have a job
7. Dave will be in his new job and loving it!! :)
and...
8. Matt will have only 4 months left of his mission!! YIPEE!!
In other words, I have lots of stressors right now... (except #8)
this limbo thing is for the birds! :) But hopefully it will be all over soon!!!!
p.s. Matt got transferred today... Area #3... he is loving it!!! :)

AMEN to "limbo is for the birds!" My MIL send me a link to register for coupons and when I realized I had no idea what my zip code would be a month from now it was a little unnerving. Good luck with it! It all works out "in the end!" :-)
K...still don't like seeing empty cupboards and boxes at your house. :( I know it will be so great for you guys when all of those things settled. Hope the next week will be a good one for all of you!
WOW you are a busy girl!!! Good luck with everything! I know it will all come together one way or another. :)
Wow.... So sad to see it empty! But.... so nice to be done with all that packing! Moving is such a huge stress! We can't wait to find out where you'll be too- and of course- it will be so nice to be closer to you guys!!!!
