LAST BLAST OF SUMMER

So we decided to squeeze in a quick little family vacation before school started. Lindsey and Katie had XC camp up at Lava Hot Springs So Dave, Ellie, Matt, Casey and I decided to head on up there, pick them up and then go to Yellowstone! :) It was SO MUCH FUN! And a much needed break. Lately I have really needed some getaways... Maybe I'm finally getting the memo on why vacations are so necessary!! :))



Friday night we went to Pocatello and stayed at Casey's Aunt and Uncle's house. It was great! they were so nice to let us come! Then we got up early and went to Lava. We floated the river and then went to the swimming pool while Lindsey and Katie finished their grueling week of xc camp!

All of us lined up in our tubes before floating the river... this pic cracks me up... it was on a timer and Dave couldn't get his shoulders all the way through :) haha

Dave, Matt and Ellie were brave and did the famous Lava high dives. I was WAY too chicken and Casey was too pregnant! :)
