UPDATE

Dave in his natural habitat - this is what he does to wind down after a long day at the office-- play "la guitara" -- I must say he is getting pretty good.

So, Matt had his first Cross country race of the season on Wednesday.. he didn't do as well as he would have liked because of MAJOR injury to his hip... ouch... Lots of Ibuprofen to the rescue! He was in a lot of pain all night... hopefully he will do better at his next meet tomorrow!
Katie is running for Student Body President... She had to give her speech in her class today, she was so excited/nervous! We are proud of her for giving it her best shot! GO KATE! :)
Lindsey started violin today in orchestra-- YEA!!
Ellie is afraid of eating lunch at school because the principal and Vice principal are soooo mean!! Lighten up guys--- it's just lunch! I tell ya, I get pretty tired of the grown ups at schools yelling at the kids- how about a little respect for our little ones?! :(
Week two of school under out belts! Yea! Happy weekend!!!

Poor Ellie - see if you can go to lunch with her one day. Maybe an adult's presence from the outside world would tone them down!!!

Kendy and I have already had three meets for Cross country. One was yesterday we didn't do so hot. I will probably post it on our blog great job Matt and Katie.

Injuries stink!! I'm sorry Matt. Tanner is dealing with his same injuries too. It is a frustrating time, but it will pass. All I can say is--drugs live!!! Way to go Kate!! That is so awesome! Dave, it warms my heart to see you enjoying the guitar. Play away, play away!!
We miss you!

What an exciting life you have. I love the pictures of Dave with his guitar. Rick plays to the boys while they are in the tub or while they are going to bed. I guess it is a good way to wind down from the stress of a day. Luke is having some of the same lunch problems as Ellie. He got in trouble with a custodian the other day for throwing his cookie in the garbage! I swear I want to go to school with him for a day and see how things really work. It is scary going from Kindergarten into the big bad world of all-day 1st grade. Tell Katie good luck with the election, and I hope Matt's cross country season goes well! (I love blogs so I can see how everyone is doing in sunny Las Vegas.)
