We have had a great Christmas Break! It, of course, went by WAY too fast! Here are some highlights:
Started the week before the break with Lindsey and Katie's orchestra concerts-they did an awesome job!! :)
Matt came home the 18th- YEA! It was so awesome to have him here for 2 whole weeks! Sad to have him leave today!!
We went to 2 movies - Avatar and The Blind side. The Blind side was BY FAR my fave!
We decorated christmas cookies.
We hiked Lone Mtn.
We had Christmas Dinner with Lisa, Chase and Grandpa at our house.
We had Nathan, LeeAnn and Maddie visit for 4 days.
A rip roarin' NYE party at our house with Dave and I, the kids, LeeAnn, Maddie, Nate and Julie.
Went to see the fountains, the flower room at Bellagio and the new Aria hotel on the strip.
Went gun shooting.
Had a great Christmas Eve appetizer feastivus- after a long day at work I came home to the kids having cleaned the house- and I mean SPOTLESS- and then they had all made a GREAT Christmas eve dinner! It was soooo nice to come home to!! :) They are THE BEST!

A family talent show- complete with piano, guitar, singing and even a rap! :)
We had a LOVELY time being home and just enjoying the season... hope you all had a great Holiday as well! This time of year is just the BEST!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! :) We are looking forward to 2010!!

Wow--you guys hit it hard! It all sounds like SO much fun. Wish we were there! We missed seeing you guys--Thanks for the update. One of these years, Lindsey, Katie and Maddie will have to do a string trio-The girls look awesome in their concert attire! We miss you guys!

So did you delete that last post about the "new knives" or what? I liked it. I liked when you were 30 and living in Cedar City. I looked up to all you guys in the neighborhood so much. You seemed so old to me! Haha- and now I am there where you are and I see all these little 20 year olds trying to be my friend and I have to remind myself that you guys were nice enough to let me be your friend. I haven't made as fun of friends since you all deserted me. There's never a better time to start being better than today! Or one of my new favorite quotes, "Don't put off until tomorrow what you can put off until the day after tomorrow!" Love Ya Leslie!
