The past 3 Saturdays that I have been at work Dave and the girls have peeled all the wallpaper off these walls. Our master bathroom is textured, painted and is looking great!! We have the kids bathroom left to texture and paint and then the kitchen. I came home from work last night and all the wallpaper in the kitchen is GONE! YEA!! Thanks for working so hard guys! I can't wait for the finished product!! (New texture,paint and countertops soon to come!)

FUNNY.... what goes around...

So for those of you who knew me WAAYYY back when... like when I was about 13 or 14 (and there aren't many of you at all) you will remember that I was hopelessly addicted to this book and this movie. It was my FAVORITE. I don't know how many times I read this book, at least a dozen and probably saw the movie twice as many times. I LOVED it!! That is why I found it SO amazing/hilarious when my girls came home from school talking about reading "The Outsiders". Lindsey had read it in her reading class at school and Katie read it in one day last Friday. They LOVED it. YES--it's official-- they are my daughters! Ha ha ha! I had never even told them about this book. Tonight we watched the movie. It brought back so many memories of me and my best friend Elicia in our Jr. High years sitting in front of our tv's watching this movie over and over and over. I still had some of the lines memorized and knew all the songs.. I had to laugh... And yeah, it made me feel old once again! :) So funny that they like the same thing I did at their ages! :) LOVE IT...

Here's a poem by Robert Frost that was in the book, I had it memorized... I loved it.

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Ahhhh.... yesteryear :)
