miss my matt and holy hives!!!

Oh how I miss this face!!
I am so excited to see this boy this weekend! It's been over a month~I can't wait!!!!!!! He has been sorely missed! I can't wait to give him a big hug! :)

AND we get to go to Sat AM general conf! YEA!! Should be great!

in other NOT so happy news... I ate something or came in contact with something yesterday at work that gave me a SEVERE allergic reaction... My hands were swollen up like balloons and I had GIGANTIC hives/welts on my arms and legs... one on my upper left arm the size of a baseball (no lie)... uh huh.... uh huh....

Massive amounts of benadryl-knocked me out- woke up WORSE in the morning... went to urgent care... shot of steroids in the keister... now I can't taste anything and my hands are numb... LOVING this! Sheesh! :(

BUT- what can ya do? Ya know? bleh...

OH MY LANTA

So we went to St. George for a fun little weekend getaway Friday night... I woke up Saturday morning like this: BLAH HA HA!!

FUN LITTLE GETAWAY= Leslie laying in the car for 5 hours with a fever, back ache, and overall SICKNASTINESS~ while Dave showed the gals a good time~ .

Here are some pics of what they did~ Beehive house tour, Pizza Factory, Temple/Visitors Center and Swimming! They had a great time. I was sad I kind of put a damper on the day! OH WELL

GRATEFUL

Have you ever had a moment hit you when you just feel so grateful? I had one of those moments today... long story short - something happened that made me stop and think of all the wonderful people in my life who have done so much to help me. I am so thankful for the many blessings that have come to me in my life through people. I have been so greatly blessed with wonderful parents, siblings, my siblings spouses, Dave's parents, Dave's siblings and their spouses, nieces, nephews and so many seriously wonderful friends! And most of all this guy
and my incredible children.











Anyone who knows me knows I am NOT artistic AT ALL- but as I was driving home today I noticed the clouds - so this is just my attempt at capturing some beauty. I just want to say I am THANKFUL for all my blessings. I have been really wrapped up in myself and needed this pleasant little "wake up call" to stop and think about how great life really is!
