Lindsey's Preference Date Dance :)

Lindsey looked so beautiful for her dance! Loved her dress :)

It was FREEZING -- but we got some good shots out on our front steps :) These are just with my camera... the real photographer was in front of the kids.

I had to get a photo of the table... I thought it looked quite dazzling... hee hee... We served salad first, with this apple/raspberry juice. Main course was Parmesan chicken, au gratin potatoes, asparagus and rolls. We even gave them a mint chocolate truffle afterward :) It was SUPER fun!! I loved doing it!

Lindsey had a great time at her Preference Dance Date! She went with McKay Mace and they had a group of 6 couples at our house for dinner that Saturday night. They went on a date Fri night too instead of a day date Sat. She said the Fri night date was the best part -- they played games at a church for 4 hours and then made pizzas at Kylie's house and played more games. Then Sat night they came to our house for pictures and dinner. They all looked awesome. Then they went to the dance and came home! :P FUN TIMES!!

Garrett and Clayson's Farewells!!

We had two cousins leave on missions in Feb. Clayson and Garrett. My girls LOVE these boys and look up to them so much! It's such a blessing to have such great examples for our families! Garrett gave a great talk in his ward on Feb 10th, then we had a fun dinner at the Christensens.

We drove to Reno for Clayson's farewell on the 17th. It was so fun! We really had a great time being at the Jorgensens. We will miss these two missionaries, but know they will be AMAZING!

It was also my birthday weekend...Dave gave me a DVD player for my new car... and my sis in laws gave me an awesome gift card to Nordstrom, some lotion and bubble bath and a delish cake! :) Lannie also brought over a darling wreath, shelf and knick knacks... she is always so thoughtful on the birthdays! :) I felt spoiled! Fun times

Valentines Day :) 2013

I love to make a little extra fancy meal for Valentines day and to decorate the table... Dave had to go to a planning and zoning meeting for work, so we snarfed down some dinner and then he had to go... but we had fun while we could! We had clam chowder in bread bowls, bleu cheese wedge salads and everyone got their own candy bar :)

It's Katie's birthday today!! What a wonderful girl Katie is! We love her so much! She is fun, funny, sweet, thoughtful, obedient, kind and so easy to love!!!

We went to Brick Oven for Katie's birthday dinner... it was super fun to have the whole family together. She opened her presents there and got a new pair of running shoes and a chocolate Sundae! :) We came home and had more dessert! Her special order of lemon layered cake! YUM!! Happy Birthday Katie Elizabeth! We love you so much!!! :))

What's up!

Ellie has been LOVIN the B-ball and she is pretty dang good at it too! :) She has been sick so much the past two months though... poor thing, she comes home from her games and practices just wiped out! :/

Lindsey asked McKay to Preference with this cute cake!! :) She's excited to go on Feb. 23rd. We're going to host the dinner at our house with 6 couples! FUN!! :)
