Matt went through the temple just over two weeks ago for the first time. What a great thing to see your child in the temple!! Although he wishes he could leave tomorrow, we are glad to have him here for a few more months! He has been so helpful with so many things around here and we are savoring every minute before he leaves. We are starting to check off some of the things on his LONG LIST ..he got FIVE immunizations yesterday...ouch!... we have bought his shoes, luggage, camera, and some shirts and ties... we have a lot more to keep working on from the list all summer!! He has been looking hard for a job and finally got one yesterday doing some home renovation work! Yea! He got to go on a fun trip to St. George/Zion's last week and hike Angels Landing and see some of his college buddies one last time before they go into the MTC this month. He and Dave went to the Father's and Sons outing Friday and had a great time together... their 18th one!!! He is planning a big trip to SF with his friends next month... woot! woot! livin la vida loca! ha ha. Tonight he is being honored by our stake for receiving his Duty to God award at a steak dinner where Lindsey and Katie are serving as our waitresses! :)

Matt - live it up buddy!!! This will be a great summer and you will surely look back at it with fond memories. I love that you went on the Fathers and Sons Outing - I hope my boys will go when they are your age!!!
18 Fathers and Sons!?! That is so cool to be able to say they went together EVERY year!! Wow!
I didn't know the Stake did a steak dinner for the boys who completed their Duty to God! That is wonderful! Go MATT!
