So, the end of the school year always brings lots of busy events! We had some great ones last week. Lindsey, Katie and Ellie have had the wonderful opportunity of taking piano lessons from Melissa Jolley. She has been such a great teacher. They have all come so far since they started with her two years ago. They have really progressed. She is quitting this year to be a stay at home mom. We will really miss her. She has been so amazing! The girls did super well in their recital this year. Lindsey played "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin, Katie played "Piano Man" by Billy Joel and Ellie played "Mean Man". They did so well. Lindsey could not be at the recital because she was on a trip with her orchestra to Universal Studios. She had a GREAT time! Sis. Jolley was nice enough to video tape her and show it at the recital. Lindsey and Katie had been working on a duet, but when Lindsey found out her trip and the recital were on the same date, Sis. Jolley stepped in and performed the duet with Katie at the recital. It was stellar! :) Way to go girls!!!
